The Annex specializes in representing artists who wish to remain anonymous (permanently) in the art world. Unconventional in both his representation and curation, Andrew Knight continues to push the boundaries of the traditional commercial art model.
Foucault in What is an Author, imagined a culture where discourse could disseminate without the need or requirement for an author:
“Perhaps the time has come to study not only the expressive value and formal transformations of discourse, but its mode of existence: the modifications and variations, within any culture, of modes of circulation, valorization, attribution, and appropriation.”
As Foucault so eloquently states in the last line of What is an Author:
“What matter who’s speaking?”
Welcome to the Annex
